Golden Globes Review

by Pilars Boutique

Claire Danes
Calvin Klein Collection
Love the cut of this dress ( specially made for her)
Love the fact that she is married to Hugh Dancy plus she made such a great acceptance speech.

Some say worst dress I say best.
January Jones in Versace
I love the vibrant red and the peek a boo sexiness with the classic beauty. She is star from the golden years with a now twist.

Olivia Wilde in Marchesa- Every little girls dream.
Some say they would have liked to hair her hair up but I think that would be trying to hard, I love the hair down. At least she got the bang straight hair right ( cough Sandra bullock)
Plus Christian Louboutin shoes- no one saw but I love that she wore them still!

Emma Stone in Calvin Klein Collection.
Truth be told- why was she nominated? Easy A? I mean funny show but Golden Globes? No.
Love the simplicity of this dress and the fact that it is my favourite colour right now- bright orange!!!
Ps. She looks SO different as a blonde kinda like Presley from My name is Earl.

Anna Hathaway in a Giorgio Armani Prive Gown.
Love the low back and sequins but the shoulder were a bit too round for me.
Megan Fox also in a Giorgio Armani Prive. FIT HER LIKE A GLOVE.
Brian Austin and her looked like such an amazing couple.

How to dress for your body type to a T!
Wearing a Oliver Tolentino dress.
Eva Longoria ____ NOT ANYMORE!
Wearing Zac Posen, she tripped once and then faked another trip walking out to present.
Way to look sexy.
Haille Stenfeld wearing Prabal Gurung.
Best little girl in a dress. Acted her age! Thank god.

Sofia Vergara wearing Vera Wang. She does sexy curvy so well.
I liked everything except the back corset- what was that ??

Angela Jolie in Atelier Versace. Relaxed sexy with an 80’s vibe.
AND GREEN!  She loves the drop waist.

Mila Kunis wearing Vera Wang. Love the emerald green on the brunette actresses.

Catherine Zeta- Jones in a Monique Ihuiller Dress.
Better on her than the model.

Jennifer Lopez wearing Zuhair Murad. I liked the cape.
She always has such great makeup and hair.

Leighton Meester wearing Burberry.
Love this dress, she looks gorgeous. I think if It was a different colour people would have liked it more.

Helena Bonham Carter in Vivienne Westwood love her for being insane.
You can’t help her because she does not care.
She is who she is.

Julianna Moore in Lavin. The only think that make it okay to look at is the styling with the Bulgari necklace. Hate the one sleeve drape.
People should not just love it cause it is Lavin.

Heidi Klum in Marc Jacobs.
No words. I don’t understand are we going to the beach??

Halle Berry in the half slip half dress by Nina Ricci.

Christina Augilera in Zuhair Murad.
What happened to X-tina?!?! If you have seen Burlesque which I have and it’s pretty good.
She looks 10 thousand times better because she was probably starved and air brushed frame by frame.
She looked  circa genie in a bottle… in the movie.
It’s just not working.
Jennifer love Hewitt in the napkin dress.

Sandra Bullock in I don’t even care cause I can’t get past the really bad hair bang clip on, the hack straighting job and the bump it in the back.

Michelle Williams in… Valentino?
Ummmm I swear Valentino is furious right now- this is what has become of his label!!!
It  is such a bad floral print and the straps remind me of taking on mac and cheese to a paper and calling it art! Next time don’t let your inner 5 year old come out THAT much.
and I love you so much! Disappointed.  Plus really bad fit on the breasts.

Ryan Gosling – Gorgeous in a shiny suite. Just a jokster on the  red carpet.

Brad Pitt in sunglasses.

Jake Gyllenhaal

Oh James Franco how I adore you. So cute.
Everyone watch 127 hours.

Johnny Depp- too cool for school. Three piece suit with no tie and a pocket watch. LOVE YOU!

Natalie Portman in Viktor and Rolf.
Not a fan of the dress, I’ve seen maternity wear done better. What a shame.

Colin Firth

Chris Colfer wins! So happy for him.
He was a jobbing actor, career not going that well if I’m being perfectly honest, who got his big break when I cast him in a show called The Office. He is now leaving that show, and killing a cash cow for both of us. Please welcome the wonderful Tina Fey, and the ungrateful Steve Carell!”
